I came to you for your guidance
I came to you
Because I thought you would understand
More than others would
I came to you
Because I thought you were the light
At the end of a long, inky black tunnel
Never did I think
That you would shatter my hopes so cruelly
That I was left broken
And my last sense of resolve drained out
Faster than the battery of a Samsung J2 smartphone
I came to you
Because I thought you were the light
At the end of a long, inky black tunnel
But instead, you turned out to be the train
That barrelled towards me at full speed
And crushed me mercilessly
Such that, in your haste
To show that you are always right
And I am the problem child
Constantly whining and seeking attention
In your haste
To ensure that I toe the line
As an autistic child in a neurotypical world
And in your haste
To make a monetary profit
By taking advantage of me
I was left dead and buried
Having paid the price
Of a monumental blunder
Because I came to you
This is beyond beautiful. I love it!
